Stoves Left On 40% of the Time While Away from Home

Wyoming’s college of Arts & Sciences has provided evidence from a new study conducted in mid 2016 that uncovered a disturbing revelation connecting the habits of people from the United States and their stoves. Researcher David White from the college of Arts and Sciences has been the lead on this much anticipated study telling us, “We took a survey of 5000 people randomly, selected across the United States.” David went on to elaborate that to conduct this study they have controlled for many factors such as race, income, and profession. “This study is searching to answer that question that became so widespread since the 1950s, ‘Did I leave the stove on?’”

Quite shockingly, results were indicating that 40% of the time when people have left their home, the stove was indeed on. During the study David and his team of researchers asked the survey participants a series of questions. “The questions from the study centered on their activities of leaving their home and the consequences of doing so. Where they were going? How long were they gone? Did they cook dinner before they left?” David explained. “We all love where home is. It provides us with security and safety. The most important things are found at home and we worry that it is kept safe from a random kitchen fire. So, next time you’re debating whether to miss your movie or turn around to go back home. You should probably go back home.”
