Another celebrity has come forward as a victim of the ever-growing #MeToo movement that has swept social media outlets in recent years. This time, it is Republican politician Ron Paul who is speaking out about a disgusting act of sexual assault that occurred in 2008. The alleged assault took place at an interview with an unnamed Austrian documentary crew.
He came into the bedroom of the hotel we were in whilst the rest of his crew were fixing a lighting malfunction. He began to make sexual advances toward me, first verbally, and then progressing towards erotic dancing to music. Soon, he started to remove his pants and that’s when I decided I had enough and quickly left the room.
I think it’s important to realize that sexual assault affects everybody male or female, young or old. I mean it happened to me and I’m a withered, soft-spoken, 83 year old man; although I was only 72 at the time and admittedly in my prime.
We were able to reach the Austrian crew who has long since departed the United States, and asked them specifically what happened during that interview. We spoke to a man who wished to remain anonymous about the incident.
