F4 Tornado Hits Wind Farm, Generates 1 Year of Power For Texas

A severe storm that barreled through mid-Texas on Monday will power the State for 1 year. Drifting aimlessly away from its Canadian home, a cold front lost its way and apologized for bumping into a drunken moist pocket coming up from the Gulf of Mexico. During the atmospheric tussle the resulting severe thunderstorm produced an F4 tornado which traced a path of destruction through the middle of Texas until it hit the Roscoe Wind Farm in Roscoe, TX.

Kevin Love, a mechanical engineer and spokesman for E.ON Climate Renewables, expressed his company’s relief after the tornado barreled through Texas. “It hasn’t been such a great start to tornado season,” Kevin said as he walked towards one of the towering pinwheels. “We put great research into placing our wind farms in the best locations to catch a tornado, but after construction of the wind farms it’s just a waiting game. Oh, and cleaning up the dead birds.” As Kevin put the carcasses in a trash bag he continued, “But this storm system that came through was an answer to our prayers. After the many blessings Hurricane Harvey produced for us last year we were hoping for another season to blow us away.!”

Coastal Point Energy, an energy company from Louisiana, is researching new locations off the coast of Galveston. The company hopes to hit it big with test turbines in the gulf to capture 2018’s hurricane season.
