Washington – Late Monday night, Ted Cruz’s Twitter account “Liked” an obscene pornographic video. The video appeared on the politician’s Twitter page for a reported two hours before it was removed. In a statement issued by Cruz, he claimed that the issue was caused by a staff member who had access to his Twitter account. At this point it is unclear who exactly liked the video, and if that person has been disciplined in any way.
A source close to Cruz believes that the Senator could not possibly be the culprit, due mainly to his preferences in pornographic material. “He prefers midget porn, the porn that appeared on his Twitter is plain old hardcore, that isn’t his style.” The source, who wished to remain anonymous, went on to say “He is into some pretty weird stuff. Midget porn, tranny gangbangs, Brazilian fart porn. I wholeheartedly believe that Mr. Cruz is innocent of any wrongdoing in this.”
As of Tuesday night, Cruz has not addressed the issue with his Twitter page. One of Cruz’s aides has reported that there is an ongoing internal investigation to find out who is responsible for the post.
