A valley man was found severely emaciated in his home Saturday after his wife came home from a week long business trip. The man’s wife, Angela Templeton, called authorities Saturday afternoon after she arrived home and found her husband curled in the fetal position surrounded by a few Hungry Man brand frozen dinners.
“John isn’t very capable when it comes to basic responsibilities such as feeding himself and cleaning himself,” Angela stated. She went on to say “I spoke to him two days after I left and he had said he was starving to death but I didn’t think he meant it in its most literal sense.”
Angela reportedly left to of to visit family in Iowa on Sunday morning. She arrived home nearly one full week later on Saturday night. Phoenix police took Angela in to custody Saturday afternoon. Her charges include man-child negligence and leaving the scene of a kitchen.
